When you want to say what you like to eat, you can use the phrase:

"Gusto kong kumain ng ___"

This literally translates to "Liking my eat some/of ___" but in natural English, it means "I like / I would like to eat ___."

"Gusto" - Like

"Kumain" - To eat

"Ng" - Of

"Prutas" - Fruit

"Tsokolate" - Chocolate

"Kanin" - Rice

"Isda" - Fish

"Manok" - Chicken

"Baboy" - Pork

"Gulay" - Vegetable

Other Useful Variations:

Gusto kong kumain ng prutas.

I like to eat fruit.

Pwede bang kumain ng tsokolate?

Can I eat chocolate?

Sarap ng kanin!
